[KL] Telegram Bot (for NSF)

Description

Configure your Telegram Bot to send user alerts to registered users via their Telegram accounts! Enter your Bot HTTP Token and Name in the ACP options and you're all set to go.

Please note: This addon does require the [KL] Notification Service Framework to install & run.

Features:
  • (Nearly) automatic user authentication (users only need to provide their telegram username and send the telegram-bot the /start-command).
Installation, Upgrade and Deinstallation

Installation:
  1. Upload the content of the upload-folder to your XenForo root directory.
  2. Head to ACP -> Add-Ons and install the Telegram Bot
Upgrade:
  1. Read the patch notes for potential additional necessary steps!
  2. Upload the content if the upload-folder to your XenForo root directory. Overwrite files when asked.
  3. Head to ACP -> Add-Ons and upgrade the Telegram Bot
Deinstallation:
  1. Head to ACP -> Add-Ons and uninstall the Notification Service Framework
  2. Delete the following folders inside your XenForo root directory:
    1. src/addons/KL/TelegramBot/
